Specialty-based pricing in RCP Médicos

In RCP Médicos there is no single price: it depends on the professional’s specialty and exposure level. Plastic surgery has a different risk profile than a clinical consultation — and the premium reflects that.

Exposure groups

Specialties are organized into exposure groups. When the customer picks their specialty in the questionnaire, they only see the plans available for that group, with the matching limits and premiums.

Rules that hold across the journey

The specialty dependency is a product catalog rule, applied both when listing plans and when charging: the platform rejects a plan that isn’t available for the selected specialty. The same mechanism serves any future product that needs conditional pricing.
